Dear Readers
To all past, present and future customers who use the services of Abbra Security and are in need of advice to overcome a security problem or with very important and overdue maintenance.
Abbra Security has been an established business for 30 years, but has experience of being in the business for over 50 years.
So often you are asked to carry out a security job, but find through neglect or lack of maintenance that it proves to be far mare difficult than it otherwise would be, adding to your cost, or finding that you and your staff are locked out with phones going unanswered.
Good security is often about correcting small and irritating symptoms, and not continuing to use poor keys in good locks, or good keys in poor locks.
Frequently with safe work, because a small fault is not put right, the result can be time consuming and very expensive. You would be surprised how often the spare key to the safe being used, or the only confirmation of the forgotten combination is, where? - inside the safe.
Another aspect of good security is to consider having your keys cut on registered blanks, only supplied from one source; otherwise the risk of keys being duplicated while in the wrong hands is very likely.
Have an additional lock fitted, digital type with quickly changed combination, access control, many types available, electric release with videos, putting you in control of all visitors entering the building.
Please make sure you give your staff convenient locking facilities, to avoid the distress caused when a handbag containing many items including keys is taken — not realising that your address and telephone number were inside - ¬the panic - "Will I be burgled before arriving home?" Also you have completely forgotten, you’re stranded, or missing your car.
Please try to avoid keeping addresses and telephone numbers inside coats and handbags. Postcodes and local police stations are a much better idea, giving you a good chance of getting some items back. Incidentally, to the male chauvinist amongst us, this can happen to a briefcase too.
I was given a space of not more than 400 words to introduce Abbra Security, letting you know what good advice there is, close at hand. The words are a struggle, but good security need not be.
I hope to hear from you in the not too near future, and not because you have had a break in, but because between us, we have avoided one.
Here’s to a good, on-going relationship and a very happy year. Please remember to look for this very important logo...
Yours sincerely
R.S. WOODS
